The holiday season has all of Two Rivers Country Club at Governor’s Land feeling festive! Our private country club in Williamsburg, Virginia, shares the same love for celebrating the holidays as our members. To help everyone get into the spirit, our calendar of events was filled with cheer to wrap up the end of the year.
The man in the red suit took a trip to Two Rivers Country Club to meet with members at our Brunch with Santa. Executive Chef Tony Rizzo and the rest of the team decided to give him a break from his usual diet of milk and cookies. They dished out a delicious menu of assorted items named after all of Santa’s reindeer. Children had the opportunity to meet and model with Mr. Claus during our family-friendly photo-op before he had to head back to the North Pole to prepare for his big trip around the world.
The holiday happenings didn’t end there, though. One of our holiday traditions, the Eskimo Open, took place on our 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course. Many of our members bundled up before grabbing their clubs and joining us at our top-rated course for a riveting round of golf. Off of the course, the Two Rivers Women’s Golf Association (TRWGA) nine, 18, and Three Trees Holiday Luncheon warmed the hearts (and stomachs) of those who attended. However, fans of our fairways weren’t the only ones having a merry time with other members. Those who prefer to play on our courts came out to celebrate at our Pickleball Holiday Party.
To wrap up all of the fun festivities, we’ll be saying farewell to 2022 at our New Year’s Eve Celebration. Members are invited to mix, mingle, and ring in the New Year at the Osprey Bar & Grille and the River Room, where champagne will be popped, poured, and enjoyed.
