Virginia Golf Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This
Two Rivers has an array of Golf Memberships to meet your needs, whether you live in our community or simply enjoy visiting to play our 18-hole championship course. Both Full and Associate Members have the freedom to chip away on our well-maintained practice facilities and recently renovated greens and bunkers. Beyond the course, enjoy our amazing amenities and access to the Clubhouse.
The picturesque par 72 course leads to a spectacular finish of 1,000 yards of river frontage along the James and Chickahominy Rivers. Features include new heat- and salt-tolerant 007 bentgrass greens, added after an extensive renovation in 2013 with Bermuda grass tees, fairways and rough. The practice facility has tees with seven target greens, practice bunker and putting green.
Two Rivers can be played from a very manageable 4,562 yards to a very challenging 6,911 yards and has five or six sets of tees per hole.
Architect Tom Fazio worked in ‘risk/reward’ design elements that come into play for better golfers, yet still offer an enjoyable golf experience for higher handicaps.
In addition to a strong Junior Golf program, Two Rivers offers a 3-Tee program for women. It is perfect for those just beginning this lifelong sport or for those getting back into it after a “golf sabbatical.”
Two Rivers is the only private golf course listed in Coastal Virginia (Hampton Roads) by Golf Digest‘s latest rankings of Top Courses in Virginia. We rank 15th best in the state out of 427 total golf courses in Virginia.
Having nationally ranked Members and hosting tournaments both attest to the caliber of Two Rivers. Recent Golf tournaments held at Two Rivers include:
Senior State Open of Virginia (2017 and 2018)
U.S. Amateur Qualifier
U.S. Senior Amateur Qualifier
Virginia State Golf Association Women’s Stroke Play Championship

Elegant Course Design
Our private golf course offers enjoyment to last a lifetime. Teeing off for a round at Two Rivers County Club is an unparalleled delight for golfers of all ages and skill levels. We take pride in a meticulously maintained golf course.
Even challenged with extreme weather conditions, Two Rivers dedicates the resources to keep the course in superb condition. See the Virginia Golfer cover article featuring Superintendent Brent Graham.
Challenge for All
Masterfully designed by acclaimed golf architect Tom Fazio, each of the 18 holes is both challenging and fair. Featuring bent grass greens and Bermuda grass tees, fairways and rough, Two Rivers can be played from a very manageable 4,567 yards to a very challenging 6,911 yards and has five sets of tees.
When you play Two Rivers, you’ll find a great variety of holes:
Long par 4’s that require position over distance and short par 4’s with birdie opportunities
Par 5’s that can be birdied or played conservatively with a lay-up
Par 3’s — some long, some short, all challenging
