Save the date for the Club’s annual Cardboard Boat Race Sunday, June 25. For this exciting event, members create a boat from cardboard and race it against other teams.
TRCC’s personable staff help create memorable experiences for our members and their guests. Our longest-serving staff member is Freddie Elliott, who works in Golf Maintenance and is our Clubhouse Groundskeeper. Two Rivers Country Club was established 26 years ago, and Freddie has been here since opening day!
Many of our dedicated team members have been at the Club for more than 15 years.
With Two Rivers Country Club’s Youth Sailing Camp, kids can learn a new skill, stay active and have fun!
Don’t miss out on our opening day golf tournament this Sunday, April 2. The format is a modified shamble beginning at 1 p.m.
All four team members will tee off on each hole. The team will select two drives. The team will break into teams of two with each pair playing from the selected drives. Each player will play their own ball from this point and the team will record the best net score from each of the pairs. The golf shop will pair the field to create equal teams. Couples will be paired together.
Last Saturday, more than 120 members joined us for a night of mingling with friends, family and neighbors at our annual Valentine’s Day event. Love was in the air as our members enjoyed a delectable meal, dancing and live entertainment.
Always a popular evening at the Club, Oysterfest is Saturday, January 28.
Exciting news! Travel + Leisure has named Williamsburg, VA one of America’s Favorite Towns in their eighth annual America’s Favorite Places survey.
Readers particularly appreciated the centuries-old heritage and mellow atmosphere. Williamsburg offers both visitors and residents a unique shopping experience, ranging from rare volumes at Mermaid Books, heirloom seeds and 18th century plantings at Colonial Nursery to legit petticoats at Mary Dickinson Shop.
Also noteworthy, the bakeries received high marks in the surveys, especially the gingerbread at Raleigh Tavern Bake Shop.
