The kudos included the food and beverage folks for enjoyable meals over the two days.
Buck Brittain made a 48-foot birdie on 17 and became the event’srepeat champion. Our own Dave Pulk came in fourth.

One of our own is saying farewell for now. Two Rivers Country Club staff member Marin Warring has been more than a familiar face here over the last 10 years. Members have watched Marin’s growth and personal service beginning as an Outside Service Attendant and rising to Assistant Golf Professional. Along the way, she’s been a wonderful connection for our children who enjoyed the PGA Junior League, which Marin conducted.
Over the years, she was also the Golf Team Captain and Sportsmanship Award winner at Lafayette High School. Following that, she led as the Golf Team Captain throughout her four years at Bridgewater College including competing in the D3 National Championship.
Marin learned to play golf at age 10 from her father, Chris Warring, Head Golf Professional at Two Rivers. They share a passion for golf and Chris says, “I am proud of Marin learning all the business, golf and people skills to advance to her new position.”
Join us in congratulating Marin on becoming Assistant Golf Professional at Farmington Country Club in Charlottesville. Members will miss Marin’s smile, positive attitude and stylish influence on our Pro Shop merchandise.
