Two Rivers Country Club Golf CourseToday begins this year’s TRCC Men’s Member-Guest Classic, the premier tournament at the Club. The 42-team field is set, the course is in outstanding shape and it will be a great weekend of fun and spirited competition. There’s a welcome cocktail reception and stag dinner to kick-off the event. Tournament play consists of five nine-hole matches by flights over Friday and Saturday. It all culminates in a gala dinner and awards Saturday evening with spouses.

Two weeks ago we hosted the 13th Senior State Open of Virginia, one of the state’s biggest and most important tournaments of the year.  Bob Heintz, Middle Atlantic PGA Entertainment Director, praised Chris Warring and his team for their leadership and Superintendent Brent Graham and staff for the great course condition. The kudos included the food and beverage folks for enjoyable meals over the two days.

Buck Brittain made a 48-foot birdie on 17 and became the event’srepeat champion. Our own Dave Pulk came in fourth.
