Whether cheffing up mouth-watering cuisine for residents at The Governor’s Land at Two Rivers, catering a celebratory event, or preparing one-of-a-kind dishes for an upscale wedding, Executive Chef Tony Rizzo has been an integral part of the Two Rivers Country Club team since June 1995.
Prior to tastefully dressing up delicious dishes of his own, Tony graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Rutgers University and worked alongside an Italian Chef and a Chef Chef from Provence, France. Before relocating to Williamsburg, Virginia, he had already gained 12 years of experience as an Executive Chef in Arizona, New Jersey, North Carolina, and Texas — sharpening both his skills and kitchen cutlery.
In addition to his exquisite training in Classical French and Italian cuisine, Tony is a Certified Executive Chef from the American Culinary Federation and has extensive knowledge of baking and pastry. Over the years, he has enjoyed mentoring aspiring chefs and growing his team at Two Rivers Country Club. When recently asked about his experience, Tony stated, “Two Rivers Country Club is a special place where I’ve been able to utilize my culinary knowledge and prepare meals for Club events, wine dinners, weddings, and many more memorable occasions.”
