Allow all of us at Two Rivers Country Club at Governor’s Land to wish you Happy Holidays! Not only have we decked our halls, but we also have two very special members of Two Rivers Country Club returning this season with another stunning gingerbread creation for us to enjoy.

Members Kris and John Costa continue to bring a new meaning to the phrase “Candyland” with their inspired architectural designs crafted out of candy, gingerbread, and more icing than you can imagine. In previous years, the two have created Santa’s Workshop, a replica of Mount Vernon, and a replica of William & Mary’s Sir Christopher Wren Building for our members to appreciate. They capture the details of each building’s design with their meticulous work using gingerbread and icing. Each creation takes weeks to make, but they’re something our members look forward to every single year at Two Rivers Country Club.

This year, Kris and John Costa have made yet another spectacular gingerbread setup to grace the Governor’s Room called “Jack’s Christmas Town.” This festive display features eight small buildings, one castle-like structure, and a large decorated Christmas tree right in the middle of their tasty town. With candy cane turrets, icing trees, and beautifully constructed gingerbread buildings, our members are in for a sweet treat this season.

The amount of time and detail dedicated to these works of art by the Costas continues to impress our community, and we’re grateful that they spread holiday cheer with the structures they share.

The holiday season is always a fun and exciting time around Two Rivers Country Club at Governor’s Land, but this gingerbread exhibit is always the icing on the cake — or should we say town? Come by the Governor’s Room at Two Rivers Country Club to take a peek at “Jack’s Christmas Town” by the talented Costa family.
