Our 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course is nestled alongside the majestic James and Chickahominy Rivers. Consistently ranked in the Top 25 Golf Courses in Virginia, our meticulously maintained, picturesque par 72 course invites golfers of all skill levels to enjoy a challenging and invigorating experience at each hole.
No matter what your skillset is, there’s a program for every player. From Junior Golf to Men’s and Women’s Golf Association, our programs are designed for social and competitive players and packed with learning opportunities. Our experienced Golf Pros are available to teach players the ins and outs of the game — such as Head Golf Professional, Chris Warring.
Chris started working at the Wintergreen Resort at the age of 13 after developing an early interest in the sport and management of golf. He attended the University of Virginia on a golf scholarship, returned to Wintergreen, and ultimately became their Head Golf Professional. He held that position at Bald Head Island Club as well before taking on the role at Two Rivers Country Club.
As a PGA class-A professional since 1991, Two Rivers Country Club brought Chris on as our head golf professional in 2001. When asked about his experience with us, Chris shared, “I thoroughly enjoy my job as the Head Golf Professional at Two Rivers. The dynamic membership is passionate about golf and enjoys their experiences with other members. This provides direction for the staff and encourages daily engagement with the hope of making our members excited about using the club.”
