Summer at Two Rivers Country Club offers more than just a scenic backdrop—it provides the ideal setting for members to relax, connect, and make the most of the season. From longstanding traditions to everyday enjoyment, this summer brought together the best of our community, events, and amenities. 

Honoring Our Local Heroes

One of the most meaningful traditions continued this year with the Public Safety Appreciation Golf Outing—a member-sponsored event that has been a club staple for over 15 years.  Nearly 80 first responders and 20 club members joined forces for a day of camaraderie and connection on the course.

The event included a captain’s choice tournament, lunch at the clubhouse, and plenty of opportunities for community engagement. It remains one of the most impactful ways our membership gives back to the people who serve Greater Williamsburg.

Celebrating the Fourth

The club’s annual Independence Day celebration brought together families and friends for a full day of activities. Members kicked things off with the Firecracker Open, a spirited member tournament, before the community lined the sidewalks for the annual parade—complete with decorated golf carts, bikes, and patriotic spirit.

Throughout the day, members gathered on the Park West Lawn for food, music, games, and entertainment. The Osprey Grille and poolside dining kept everyone fueled with seasonal favorites, while kids enjoyed festive inflatables, face painting, and more.

As the sun set, members came together once more to enjoy fireworks over the James River, a signature Two Rivers tradition that continues to draw generations in celebration.
