Summer at Two Rivers Country Club is never a bummer — especially for kids of all ages! Our private, member-owned community offers a busy schedule of year-round activities for our younger residents and club members, and summer is no exception.
Our Youth Activities Program highlights the many ways your little ones can have fun in the sun while learning a new skill at Two Rivers Country Club. With clinics and youth tennis and golf camps available, the Junior Golf and Tennis Programs are great for those looking to practice their swing — whether it’s on the courts or our Tom Fazio-designed championship golf course. But for the ones who want to dive head first into one of our outdoor seasonal pools in Williamsburg, VA, The Governor’s Land Typhoons swim team is who you should wade towards.
There’s no better way to beat the heat than competing with other kids on The Governor’s Land Typhoons summer swim team! The little ones on our team have started their summer off strong — suiting up and swimming laps in practice before going head-to-head with other teams at meets. Our community is home to our youth competitive swim team — one of 20 affiliated with the Virginia Peninsula Swimming Union (VPSU). The Typhoons team offers exciting opportunities for children of The Governor’s Land residents and Two Rivers Country Club members to connect and compete with one another while working on swimming proficiency, fitness, and sportsmanship in a safe learning environment. They can stay cool in the pool while warming up before at-home and away swim meets – both of which have optional participation. Don’t worry, you’ll also have the chance to cheer them on poolside with other parents and make new friends as well!
