The First Tee at Two Rivers Country Club just concluded its first spring season session Saturday, June 6. After a successful initial gathering last year to determine interest from within the community, the support was overwhelming to create a First Tee group for TRCC. Meeting on Saturdays over two months, TRCC hosted 15 children from all around Williamsburg who were at the “PLAYer” level, ages 7-11 of The First Tee of the Virginia Peninsula chapter.
‘Tis the season to eat, drink and be merry with friends and family. Each year, Two Rivers Country Club is delighted to welcome a special, jolly visitor through our doors to celebrate this festive time.

Governor’s Land at Two Rivers concluded an ambitious and successful campaign to aid in the fight against cancer. Through multiple events and support from friends, neighbors and corporate sponsors, the campaign raised $63,545.90 for the American Cancer Society – more than any other team in Williamsburg, Virginia.
The campaign held personal significance to campaign co-chairs Nancy McAvoy and Kaye Vickerman. The two are cancer survivors and also lost a friend and former team captain, Bobb Ruff, to a battle with cancer. Shortly after his death last year, Nancy and Kaye committed to be permanent co-captains of the Governor’s Land Rovers to ensure an active Relay for Life team in 2010 and future years.
